The Dustite®
LR design allows the indicator wheel nut cap to be mounted
on the wheel nuts through the access holes in the trim so that
the indicating pointers can be aligned on the outer surface
of the trim and be visible at all times for walk-round safety
and roadworthiness inspections and zero defect reporting.
The Dustite®
LR offers the same operational benefits of the standard Dustite® loose wheel nut indicator dust cap from which it has been developed, they include;-

The Dustite® LR uses the same mounting principle
and method of adjusting the pointer alignment as the Checkpoint® loose
wheel nut indicator. The integrated design of the Dustite®
LR fully encloses Spigot, Conical, or Spherical seated
wheel nuts manufactured to ISO, DIN, or to BS standards. In
application, when the Dustite® LR is mounted
on a lightly greased wheel nut, it seals and helps protect the wheel nut
and stud threads from the ingress of water and road debris that can cause
corrosion of the wheel nut and stud threads.
We can supply the Dustite® LR for 32mm and
33mm hexagon wheel nuts. Two other standard sizes in use in
the UK and Europe, 38mm and 27mm, will be available shortly.
Standard colours are Fluoro Yellow, Silver-Grey, Black and
Red.
